Twenty two years ago Bruce Oliver started his cheese wholesaling business with the objective of spreading the word about British Farmhouse Cheeses. He believed in the quality, flavour and great variety of these cheeses and that he could help by distributing them to specialist food shops, delis and more recently farm shops. He is particularly enthusiastic about the northern English cheeses in which he specialised.

Bruce retired in March 2007 and the business has been carried on under new stewardship but with the same philosophy of supporting the local cheese makers in the north of england. Our range has now widened to reflect the increased interest in British cheeses.
